Sacred Rhythms of the Heartland
With Mark Gossman, first Sunday each month, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., open to everyone!
From the moment that we take our first breath to the last beat of our heart, we are entwined in the rhythms that send us whirling through space. Ancient people found a way to translate and celebrate these cycles by way of simple instruments made from seeds, skins, bones and bells. The modern drum circle offers the same opportunity to join in community to create, express, and release through rhythmic song. Bring percussion instrument or one will be provided. Flutes are also welcome. Love offering.
