Weddings and Ceremonies
Let our experienced wedding staff help you make your special day peaceful and hassle free. In our church, whether you choose to use your minister or ours, there are no requirements to have your wedding in our facility. All of our guidelines are for the safety of you and your guests or to protect our facility. We can do anything from complex ceremonies with up to 750 guests to a simple stand up wedding on our bridge with just the two of you. We can do receptions for up to 175 with a dance floor or 200 without a dance floor.
Facilities
We have ample parking and a circular drive which allows easy access to our church for the bridal party, vendors and guests. Our covered portico makes a perfect spot for “get away” pictures regardless of the weather. The beautiful lush green grounds allows for outdoor pictures without going to a second location. We have a bridge which is a favorite spot of photographers.
Our main sanctuary features a long middle aisle, raised platform with stairs and beautiful stone background and lighted trees. There is plenty of room for candelabras, unity candle tables, flowers and the bridal party. There are side aisles for easy guest seating. A grand piano is available and/or our sound engineer will play the music of your choice during your ceremony.
We also have a smaller chapel that will hold 50 people for smaller, more intimate services. This beautiful chapel allows you have just the seating you desire and to place it any way you might want. It has a flowing material background and lighted trees.
Outdoor standing weddings are available for parties of up to 20. Our wooden bridge can hold the bride, groom and attendants while guests gather around it.
The large bride’s room is conveniently located near the sanctuary, chapel and outdoor exit. It has its own bathroom, temperature control, and long mirror to make getting ready as easy and fun.
You can have the photographer and florist of your choice.
Services
We can do anything from multi-cultural services to simple stand up services in one of our minister’s offices. Couples can write their own services or vows, use a standardized service or our ministers will help you design a service that fits your specific needs. We can do family services, commitment services, Holy Union services or re-statement of vows. We do not have set times for our services or rehearsals which mean you can reserve any time slot that is available on our calendar. You can also bring your own minister if you chose to do so.
Reception and Rehearsal Dinner Facilities
Our newly painted and carpeted reception area can hold up to 175 with a dance area and 200 with no dance area. We can also create a smaller room using wall partitions for smaller receptions or rehearsal dinners. There are a set of bathrooms on each side of the hall which helps eliminate long lines. You can have the caterer and cake of your choice. Alcohol can be served with some restrictions. Our roomy kitchen has a commercial refrigerator and a deep freeze where you can store drinks and ice.
Soloists and Musicians
Most of the soloists and musicians who perform on Sundays in our church are also available to sing at weddings. There are no music restrictions.
Our pianist will provide pre-seating music; play all the music for your ceremony including practicing with soloists beforehand, and recessional music until your guests have exited.
