What ties us together?

Good Neighbor Conversations - Logo

In this year’s meeting, we put a spin on the typical icebreaker game! We go around the room – sharing our names and a fun memory about our childhood neighborhoods. Each speaker tosses a ball of yarn around to the next speaker, creating some crazy shapes… and sometimes tangles! 🙂

The yarn represents a common tie and a shared bond – both within the room and across the nearly 100 other meetings happening across the county this fall.

We are bigger – and more connected! – than ever before.

Neighboring includes Housing

A new article covering KCMO’s Zero KC plan shows how 1) a comprehensive plan to reach Functional Zero and 2) a coordinator who drives the plan are essential to ending homelessness!

These are the exact solutions we’ve been advocating for through our campaigns and Nehemiah Actions since 2022 – and why we will continue to seek progress this year.
