Good Faith Network 6th Annual Listening Process Underway!
Nearly 100 Good Faith Network team leaders came together for our Listening Process Kickoff, and the energy in the room was contagious! Team leaders spent the evening getting equipped, building confidence, and preparing to head back into their congregations and communities ready to have meaningful conversations. A huge thank-you to Village Presbyterian Church for hosting us and helping us launch this important season of work. The kickoff was just the starting point—and now, we’re ready to listen, learn, and discover what Johnson County is calling us to do next!
Now We Listen… 
On August 24, we officially launched our Listening Process and now the conversations are happening all across Johnson County! Through October 12, we’re setting out to hold 100+ listening sessions and hear from 1,000 Johnson Countians, creating space for both familiar faces and brand-new voices to come together and tell us what they’re seeing, experiencing, and dreaming about for our community.
A huge shout-out to our incredible Peer Coaches and Story Stewards! These are some of our most advanced team leaders who are helping equip, encourage, and support other leaders as they hold these conversations in their congregations and communities.
CAPABLE: A Story Worth Sharing

This is exactly what organizing looks like: neighbors identify a problem, come together around a solution, and refuse to stop until their community is better because of it.

At this network-wide gathering, we will hear stories from the fall listening process, receive updates on our ongoing campaigns, and vote to select the newest issue area for the Good Faith Network to address.
Solutions Briefing
April 4, 2027 | 2:00 p.m. | Congregation Beth Torah
We will gather to learn about the specific policy and funding solutions developed through our research process. Participants will leave equipped to explain the issues clearly and meaningfully invite others to join them at the Nehemiah Action.
Nehemiah Action
May 4, 2027 | 6:00 p.m. | Church of the Resurrection
Our largest event of the year brings together hundreds of people from across our member congregations to advocate for well-researched solutions and secure commitments from the local officials who have the power to act.
Celebration
June 13, 2027 | 2:00 p.m. | Islamic Center of Johnson County
We will conclude the program year by celebrating our progress and victories, recognizing the leaders who made the work possible, and completing our annual stewardship campaign.
