(Hint: It’s Easy!)
We are thrilled to offer you Text-to-Give, an easy way to send love offerings and/or make payments to UCOP — right from your phone!
All you need:
- a smart phone
- our text-to-give number –> 913-349-6368
- the amount you will donate or pay
- a keyword for giving
We are currently using three (3) keywords:
- GIVE (for love offerings and other donations)
- EVENTS (to pay for events)
- CLASSES (to pay for classes/workshops)
Here’s how to pay for events and classes. (We address love offerings and donations below):
Text-to-Give: Payments for UCOP Events:
FIRST, text GIVE to 913-349-6368.
THEN follow the prompts (text will ask you “How much would you like to give?”)
- To pay for EVENTS, enter the amount, then keyword EVENTS.
- Example: To pay $55 for an event, type:
55 events - You will receive a receipt via email.
Text-to-Give: Payments for UCOP Classes or Workshops:
FIRST, text GIVE to 913-349-6368.
THEN follow the prompts (text will ask you “How much would you like to give?”)
- To pay for Classes, enter the amount, then keyword CLASSES.
- Example: To pay $30 for an event, type:
30 classes - You will receive a receipt via email.
What about Love Offerings and other donations?
The general donation keyword is GIVE. There is no other keyword.
Text GIVE to 913-349-6368.
NEXT follow the prompts. (Text will ask you “How much would you like to give?”)
- Simply type the amount.
- Example: to donate $150, type 150.
- You will receive a receipt via email.
