Our annual Celebration is coming up on June 14th!

This event is full of fun & fellowship, with great food and entertaining GFN trivia and awards to honor outstanding congregations and leadership!

We use this event to tell OUR STORY  you’ll definitely want to hear the ‘behind the scenes’ of our campaigns this year.

This is also the culmination of our annual investment drive: Every Network Member is asked to consider investing financially in the work if they choose, but it is never a requirement for belonging.

We hope you’ll join us for a good time on the 14th! More details below!

ELDERCARE LUNCHEON

On June 2, the Eldercare Committee gathered with members of the Board and Executive Board for a working luncheon focused on the next phase of our campaign.

Together, we reviewed the progress we have made toward bringing CAPABLE to Johnson County – a proven program that helps low-income older adults remain safely in their homes by combining nursing care, occupational therapy, and home modifications.

We also looked honestly at the work ahead: building public pressure, strengthening our strategy, and preparing for key meetings this summer with decision-makers who can help make CAPABLE available to seniors in our community.

By the end of the gathering, the committee had renewed energy, clearer next steps, and a growing circle of leaders ready to move this campaign forward.

This summer, we will continue pressing for a real pathway to bring CAPABLE to Johnson County – because our seniors deserve care that honors their dignity, protects their independence, and helps them stay rooted in the homes and communities they love.
